Musical Dialogue

Musical dialogue groups are discourse groups that use the power of music to promote listening, respect for others, dialogue, connection between conflict groups.

The initiative brings together people from different sectors and ages for a meeting of dialogue through music. There are between 10-14 participants in each workshop, which takes place over 10 meetings. No previous musical experience is necessary. The group facilitators hold a master’s degree in music therapy and in addition have completed a unique training at Bar Ilan University for leading conflict groups.

The first dialogue group was launched in January with religious and secular women in the Binyamin Regional Council.
